We welcomed new friends, played so many games, learned to introduce themselves and talked about holiday experiences. 

This week we have been focusing on activities aimed at strengthening friendships and a welcoming classroom climate. The children created gifts for their classmates.

Where do I go to kindergarten? What do we do in our Kindergarten and when? The children learnt about the daily routine, created classroom rules and everything they needed to know about our kindergarten. 

With the children we have been exploring the four seasons that will accompany us throughout the school year.

Colorful autumn brought activities to our kindergarten with colorful leaves, twigs, chestnuts, pinecones, nuts....
The children counted the natural materials, built a trap of the mouse Hryzka, painted leaves, and made a kite.

Vegetables are healthy for our body. Children learned about different types of vegetables and their use in the kitchen, built a vegetable farm, painted their favourite vegetables.

We have already prepared our garden so that we can see the first spring flowers in spring. To start with, we drew up a plan of what our garden will look like and then with the children we planted bulbs of daffodils, snowdrops, crocuses and many others.

This week we talked about the forest. What kind of trees we know, who lives in the forest, how we should behave on a walk in the forest. We learnt about edible and poisonous mushrooms, coniferous and deciduous trees, and different tree fruits.

The puppet show When Trees Sing introduced the children to the importance of trees for life on Earth, their protection and importance in the whole ecosystem.

We talked with the children about life in the forest, its inhabitants. We modelled the forest and forest animals with playdough. We also talked about their way of life, foraging for food. Children could make a hedgehog or a squirrel.

Children performed in fun masks, danced various common dances, games. The children worked together to create a big pumpkin out of chestnuts and also made one pumpkin out of natural materials as a gift for their parents.
