Mr. Mikuláš visited children in the kindergarten,  who were eagerly waiting for him. He brought them healthy treats. In return, the children thanked him not only with a poem, but also with their drawings that they made for him.

Our little bakers started baking the best Christmas pastries - Gingerbread cookies. We talked about how the dough is made, what we need for baking and after baking of course we  tasted the coolies gingerbread. 

Greetings, Christmas trees, angels, lots of ornaments for the tree, all made by the skilful hands of our children. 

In the morning the children found presents under the tree to unwrap. The joy of toys was carried around the kindergarten all day long :) 

The children prepared a surprise for their parents in the form of a Christmas carol. Together we made a video to keep the memories for this moment.

We talked with children about the winter sports they like to do when snow is around us. The older children made ice skates and the younger ones made warm clothes that good sportsmen need in winter.

How do we take care of animals in winter ?  Which animals hibernate in their burrows ? Which ones enjoy the warmth in warm countries ? Which animals need winter for their lives ? We answered all these questions through interesting activities for the children.

This week we explored with the children what our hands can do. The children painted each other's palms, created buildings together, modelled objects out of plasticine, guessed shapes by touch from a magic bag or experimented with making snow.

During the frosty days we visited the park and brought to the little birds their goodies. The children watched tit birds and sparrows and made their own bird feeders for them. 

Carnival fun also reigned in our kindergarten. The children enjoyed dancing, competing and lot of fun.
